Here are the kiffiylah (Arab headwear) and the tallis (Jewish prayer shawl), tied together by Farid at the end of his performance piece.

After the baby party, these are some of the relatives playing around. The older guys were giving the younger ones, and each other, rides.

Here I am at the bakery, down at the bottom of the hill near the junction with the main road. Suzi discovered the bakery and showed it to me. Glad she did, but also glad it's a long walk, which will keep me from going every day! There is a smaller bakery, though, just down the street from us. Behind me is the Jewish couple we met who comes here frequently to shop at the bakery and at the produce souk.
